Wayne Smith - The Fisherman

Wayne Smith's analytical approach to life has seen him achieve amazing results in many areas, vocations and sports. His passion for Fishing, certainly not the least of these interests, has seen him create for himself a reputation of, what in most fishing circles is, an unheard of ability to obtain results many people comment, 'seeing is believing.'

Fishing associations have been known to amend constitutions, change rules, reconfigure competition structures and other things in an attempt to balance the competition, based purely around his results.

These attempts have usually failed to curb his results, but then it also tends to discourage his participation too. Trophies you may see on this site or on his shelves at home, are limited as a result of placing relations ahead of winning.

99% of Waynes fishing, of course, is not about competition or trophies. It's simply his passion, and anything further has come about as a consequence, not as a result of a desire to fill a room with shiny things.

Wayne has appeared in fishing magazines, promotional tourism brochures and even on television, promoting Fly Fishing in South Australia.
